Narcissus



The Alchemist picked up a book that someone in the caravan had brought. Leafing through the pages, he found a story about Narcissus.

The Alchemist knew the legend of Narcissus, a youth who knelt daily beside a lake to contemplate his own beauty. He was so fascinated by himself that, one morning, he fell into the lake and drowned. At the spot where he fell, a flower was born, which was called narcissus.

But this was not how the author of the book ended the story.

He said that when Narcissus died, the goddesses of the forest appeared and found the lake, which had been fresh water, transformed into a lake of salty tears.

"Why do you weep?" the goddesses asked.

"I weep for Narcissus," the lake replied.

"Ah, it is no surprise that you weep for Narcissus," they said, "for though we always pursued him in the forest, you alone could contemplate his beauty close at hand."

"but... was Narcissus beautiful?" the lake asked.

"Who better than you to know that?" the goddesses said in wonder. "After all, it was by your banks that he knelt each day to contemplate himself!"

The lake was silent for some time. Finally, it said:

"I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected."

Original version the parable taught us the sufferings of narcissism, an extreme obsession of appreciating one's own beauty. But this modified version of the classic parable has a much different lesson to teach, it teaches how beauty is contemplated through another’s beauty. Narcissus looked onto the lake in order to see his own beauty, but in return the lake looked onto Narcissus to see its own beauty too. Was Narcissus or the Lake narcissistic? In this version,they weren’t. Narcissism is an extreme obsession of oneself, an intense self-worship, where the person completely disregards every beauty and only cares about themselves. A narcissistic persons are blinded by their own self-obsession so much that they are unable to see other’s beauty. Narcissists do not really find their true beauty either,instead they are obsessed with trying to find their own beauty. In that process they completely ignore every true beauty in the world. But in this story neither Narcissus nor the Lake are true narcissists because knowingly or unknowingly they accepted and showed each others beauty and could see their own beauty too. This story says something important about ourselves, about how we see ourselves through the reflections from everything around us. The story is trying to teach us a very important lesson and that "the only way to see your own true beauty is to appreciate another’s".

Nanos gigantum humeris insidentes



Dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants (Latin: nanos gigantum humeris insidentes) is a Western metaphor meaning "One who develops future intellectual pursuits by understanding the research and works created by notable thinkers of the past"(from wiki). A Dwarf standing on the shoulder of a giant could have a better foresight and guide the giant towards the light. This philosophy has one drawback. Though the dwarf could see the direction of light, it forgot to examine what's beneath his foot. The road to light may not be straight and it may have several obstacles. One miss foot could end the journey of both. So it is important that sometimes the dwarf has to come down and examine the local path.

"The scientist has a lot of experience with ignorance and doubt and uncertainty, and this experience is of very great importance, I think. When a scientist doesn't know the answer to a problem, he is ignorant. When he has a hunch as to what the result is, he is uncertain. And when he is pretty darn sure of what the result is going to be, he is still in some doubt. We have found it of paramount importance that in order to progress we must recognize our ignorance and leave room for doubt. Scientific knowledge is a body of statements of varying degrees of certainty - some most unsure, some nearly sure, but none absolutely certain."-Feynman
It's good to read and understand the works of the intellectuals of the past, but we don't have to take anything for granted. This is the philosophy of ignorance. In another words "Empty your cup".

302kmph



I love to travel by trains, especially by ICEs in Germany. Their elegant and aerodynamic look makes it more beautiful than any other trains in the world. Even though ICEs could reach the speed of 300kmph, it is allowed only on certain routes. Luckily I could pick up one such routes on my way back from Jülich to Regensburg. I took ICE 613 from Köln to Frankfurt airport, which happened to be an high speed ICE.

The train left Köln at 17:54, reached the next near by(25km) station Siegburg at 18:09 and left Siegburg at 18:11 to Frankfurt airport. The length of the train route is 143km. It reached Frankfurt station at the scheudled time 18:54. So it took 43 mins to cover 143 km. So the average speed is about 199kmph.

I knew this is an high speed track. So I sat in a place where I could see the digital screen which displays the speed of the train. The number on the screen fluctuating between 230 to 290. I was eagerly waiting to see the 300 mark. Finally it happened. I was so excited to see the number 302kmph on the screen. So On 17th Aug 2009 at 18:33 I hold the record of traveling at the speed of 302kmph on ground.

The ICE design is so good that I don't have a feeling that I traveling in such a high speed. The high speed is realized when a train passes in the opposite direction, the low pressure region between the trains pulls the train towards each other and I felt a slight shake in the train. It was a wonderful experience.

Congratulations Federer



Roger Federer became the greatest player in Grand Slam history as he beat Andy Roddick in five dramatic sets for a sixth Wimbledon and 15th major title.

"This is not why I'm playing tennis, to break records, and this doesn't mean I'm going to stop playing tennis. I hope to come back for many years." True words from true champion.

I hope his count won't stop at 15.

Illusion


I received a forwarded message, which claims that the above image could be read comfortably by blurring eyes, but not with the clear vision. It is true in fact. If you close your eyes 90% then you are able to read it.

This image was constructed beautifully. Initially our brain tries to construct the letters using white blocks. But white blocks are just gaps. The letters are really constructed by black blocks.

Second thing is the shading creates an illusion that the white blocks oriented roughly 30 degree to the left of our straight eye site and you are viewing the blocks from slightly above. This is the predominant view. But this is exactly opposite when you consider black blocks. The black blocks are oriented roughly 30 degree to the right of your straight view and we are viewing that from below. This is a hidden view. We can't have both views simultaneously, because they contradict each other.

You can ask your brain to switch view instead of closing the eyes to 90%. It's little bit hard, but not impossible. First you should train the brain, for that you should tell the brain that the letters are made up of black blocks, they are oriented 30 degree to the right and we are watching it from slightly below. Once you keep all this in mind and then you are able to see the words.

Try this also, close your eyes to 90% then slowly open your eyes and see at some point the word will disappear. It is quite interesting to watch it disappearing. Then try to force your brain not to switch the view, even after completely open your eyes. It is possible, but you can't hold that view for long time. I try to see how fast I can switch the view back and forth with out closing the eyes. It's hard.

The Matrix Reversed

Recently I happened to listen the talks presented at the 30th anniversary of the book "The selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins. I haven't read the book yet, but still I got some idea, what is it all about. I have ordered the book and looking forward read it.

It is all about the gene centered theory of evolution. "The evolution occurs not just to favor the species, but to favor the gene; we are just a mechanism created by genes in order to make sure a successful and safe propagation of gene by transcription and transmutation." This is the basic idea of the book. We are just machines controlled by this tiny little genes and now we try to over power them by human genome project and genetic engineering. This is something similar to the situation, when the machines took control over us(like in the movie Matrix). But now we are machines fighting against our masters, so the matrix is reversed.

Some people criticized that this book is really depressing. This book arguers that human life is nothing and its just a traveling vehicles for genes. In a scientific stand point this may be true. If that's the way nature is going to work, we should accept it. Any way let me first read the book and then I'll give complete review.

Consiousness

It was Saturday afternoon. I logged in to Skype to listen the first online discussion meeting of "Indian School of Thoughts on Consciousness" . I must appreciate the efforts of Eswar to organize such an online discussion. This is the second active event from our Institute for Natural Philosophy.

It was an introductory meeting. Eswar explained various aspects of the consciousness. Even though I didn't actively participate in that discussion, I had many thoughts on consciousness.

I feel that consciousness is highly subjective. It's not a measurable quantity as well. We are in a world, where people live comfortably with varying degree of consciousness. Some not even heard the world "consciousness". They knew how to earn their bread and butter, that's it.


The problem of consciousness can be addressed in many ways. As I understood they were not discussing about the basic level of consciousness every one has. It's also called survival instinct, which prevents us from exposed to dangers and protects us in life threatening situations.The point of discussion is beyond survival, because we are not just born to survive.

Is it possible to have "complete consciousness"? I mean the highest form of consciousness. It's not an easy question to answer. The idea of consciousness is triggered by "non-trivial questions". These are the fundamental questions.Buddha asked him self "Why people have suffering?, Is there a way to stop it?". He started his search and finally found an answer, and he reviled the truth to the world. Now we all knew the answer to those questions, but why we can not reach the state(level of consciousness or enlightenment) of Buddha? My answer is simple,IT IS NOT THE ANSWERS ,WHICH LEADS TO ENLIGHTENMENT. IT IS THOSE QUESTIONS AND THE PATH HE TOOK TO FIND THE ANSWERS. Does he attain the "complete conscious sate"?. No . He is no different from a person, who doesn't ask such questions and strongly believes there exists no such answers or consciousness.They both have different level of consciousness, but the point they both BELIEVE in it.

A child's ignorance could be compared with the enlightenment of the mind. Until a child knows that he is ignorant, he is perfectly happy. Once we know that we are ignorant, we try to get rid of the ignorance by asking questions. If someone finds answers to all those questions, he is happy and enlightened. Does this mean that there aren't any questions to answer?. Certainly not. He is also now like a child, but relatively bigger world of knowledge, that's all. This is true even in the case of Bhddha or who ever believed to attained enlightenment.

This concept is beautifully explained in the book "Siddhartha". The protagonist of that story tried several paths to attain enlightenment.Even once he was a student of Buddha At the end he met a ferryman called Vasudeva, who has done nothing but ferrying all of his life time. He took him as his Guru, and finds answers to his search. At the end he says about Vasudeva that "he is no different than Buddha".

One must find his own way to achieve consciousness. It would be dangerous to follow the footprints, without knowing where it leads to. When you follow the footprints, you believe the guy walked before, but when you take a new path, you believe in your self.

The value of Science

When I was younger, I thought science would make good things for everybody. It was obviously useful; it was good. During the war I worked on the atomic bomb. This result of science was obviously a very serious matter: It represented the destruction of people.

After the war I was very worried about the bomb. I didn't know what the future was going to look like, and I certainly wasn't anywhere near sure that we would last until now. Therefore one question was: is there some evil involved in science?

Put another way, what is the value of the science I had dedicated myself to—the thing I loved—when I saw what terrible things it could do? It was a question I had to answer.

"The Value of Science" was a kind of report, if you will [Feynman gave that "report" as a public address to a 1955 meeting of the National Academy of Sciences.] on many of the thoughts that came to me when I tried to answer that question.

The Value of Science
From time to time people suggest to me that scientists ought to give more consideration to social problems - especially that they should be more responsible in considering the impact of science on society. It seems to be generally believed that if the scientists would only look at these very difficult social problems and not spend so much time fooling with less vital scientific ones, great success would come of it.
It seems to me that we do think about these problems from time to time, but we don't put a full-time effort into them - the reasons being that we know we don't have any magic formula for solving social problems, that social problems are very much harder than scientific ones, and that we usually don't get anywhere when we do think about them.
I believe that a scientist looking at nonscientific problems is just as dumb as the next guy - and when he talks about a nonscientific matter, he sounds as naive as anyone untrained in the matter. Since the question of the value of science is not a scientific subject, this talk is dedicated to proving my point - by example.
The first way in which science is of value is familiar to everyone. It is that scientific knowledge enables us to do all kinds of things and to make all kinds of things. Of course if we make good things, it is not only to the credit of science; it is also to the credit of the moral choice which led us to good work. Scientific knowledge is an enabling power to do either good or bad - but it does not carry instructions on how to use it. Such power has evident value - even though the power may be negated by what one does with it.
I learned a way of expressing this common human problem on a trip to Honolulu. In a Buddhist temple there, the man in charge explained a little bit about the Buddhist religion for tourists, and then ended his talk by telling them he had something to say to them that they would never forget - and I have never forgotten it. It was a proverb of the Buddhist religion:

To every man is given the key to the gates of heaven; the same key opens the gates of hell.

What then, is the value of the key to heaven? It is true that if we lack clear instructions that enable us to determine which is the gate to heaven and which the gate to hell, the key may be a dangerous object to use.
But the key obviously has value: how can we enter heaven without it?
Instructions would be of no value without the key. So it is evident that, in spite of the fact that it could produce enormous horror in the world, science is of value because it can produce something.
Another value of science is the fun called intellectual enjoyment which some people get from reading and learning and thinking about it, and which others get from working in it. This is an important point, one which is not considered enough by those who tell us it is our social responsibility to reflect on the impact of science on society.
Is this mere personal enjoyment of value to society as a whole? No! But it is also a responsibility to consider the aim of society itself. Is it to arrange matters so that people can enjoy things? If so, then the enjoyment of science is as important as anything else.
But I would like not to underestimate the value of the world view which is the results of scientific effort. We have been led to imagine all sorts of things infinitely more marvelous than the imaginings of poets and dreamers of the past. It shows that the imagination of nature is far, far greater than the imagination of man. For instance, how much more remarkable it is for us all to be stuck - half of us upside down - by a mysterious attraction to a spinning ball that has been swinging in space for billions of years than to be carried on the back of an elephant supported on a tortoise swimming in a bottomless sea.
I have thought about these things so many times alone that I hope you will excuse me if I remind you of this type of thought that I am sure many of you have had, which no one could ever have had in the past because people then didn't have the information we have about the world today.

The same thrill, the same awe and mystery, comes again and again when we look at any question deeply enough. With more knowledge comes a deeper, more wonderful mystery, luring one on to penetrate deeper still. Never concerned that the answer may prove disappointing, with pleasure and confidence we turn over each new stone to find unimagined strangeness leading on to more wonderful questions and mysteries - certainly a grand adventure!
It is true that few unscientific people have this particular type of religious experience. Our poets do not write about it; our artists do not try to portray this remarkable thing. I don't know why. Is no one inspired by our present picture of the universe? This value of science remains unsung by singers: you are reduced to hearing not a song or poem, but an evening lecture about it. This is not yet a scientific age.
Perhaps one of the reasons for this silence is that you have to know how to read the music. For instance, the scientific article may say, "The radioactive phosphorus content of the cerebrum of the rat decreases to one-half in a period of two weeks." Now what does that mean?
It means that phosphorous that is in the brain of a rat - and also in mine, and yours - is not the same phosphorus as it was two weeks ago. It means the atoms that are in the brain are being replaced: the ones that were there before have gone away.
So what is this mind of ours: what are these atoms with consciousness? Last week's potatoes! They now can remember what was going on in my mind a year ago - a mind which has long ago been replaced.
To note that the thing I call my individuality is only a pattern or dance, that is what it means when one discovers how long it takes for the atoms of the brain to be replaced by other atoms. The atoms come into my brain, dance a dance, and then go out - there are always new atoms, but always doing the same dance, remembering what the dance was yesterday.
When we read about this in the newspaper, it says "Scientists say this discovery may have importance in the search for a cure for cancer." The paper is only interested in the use of the idea, not the idea itself. Hardly anyone can understand the importance of an idea, it is so remarkable. Except that, possibly, some children catch on. And when a child catches on to an idea like that, we have a scientist. It is too late1 for them to get the spirit when they are in our universities, so we must attempt to explain these ideas to children.
I would now like to turn to a third value that science has. It is a little less direct, but not much. The scientist has a lot of experience with ignorance and doubt and uncertainty, and this experience is of very great importance, I think. When a scientist doesn't know the answer to a problem, he is ignorant. When he has a hunch as to what the result is, he is uncertain. And when he is pretty darn sure of what the result is going to be, he is still in some doubt. But I don't know whether everyone realizes this is true. Our freedom to doubt was born out of a struggle against authority in the early days of science. It was a very deep and strong struggle: permit us to question - to doubt - to not be sure. I think that it is important that we do not forget this struggle and thus perhaps lose what we have gained. Herein lies a responsibility to society.
We are all sad when we think of the wondrous potentialities human beings seem to have, as contrasted with their small accomplishments. Again and again people have thought that we could do much better. Those of the past saw in the nightmare of their times a dream for the future. We, of their future, see that their dreams, in certain ways surpassed, have in many ways remained dreams. The hopes for the future today are, in good share, those of yesterday.
It was once thought that the possibilities people had were not developed because most of the people were ignorant. With universal education, could all men be Voltaires? Bad can be taught at least as efficiently as good. Education is a strong force, but for either good or evil.
Communications between nations must promote understanding - so went another dream. But the machines of communication can be manipulated. What is communicated can be truth or lie. Communication is a strong force, but also for either good or evil.
The applied sciences should free men of material problems at least. Medicine controls diseases. And the record here seems all to the good. Yet there are some patiently working today to create great plagues and poisons for use in warfare tomorrow.
Nearly everyone dislikes war. Our dream today is peace. In peace, man can develop best the enormous possibilities he seems to have. But maybe future men will find that peace, too, can be good and bad. Perhaps peaceful men will drink out of boredom. Then perhaps drink will become the great problem which seems to keep man from getting all he thinks he should out of his abilities.
Clearly, peace is a great force - as are sobriety, material power, communication, education, honesty, and the ideals of many dreamers. We have more of these forces to control than did the ancients. And maybe we are doing a little better than most of them could do. But what we ought to be able to do seems gigantic compared with our confused accomplishments.
Why is this? Why can't we conquer ourselves?
Because we find that even great forces and abilities do not seem to carry with them clear instructions on how to use them. As an example, the great accumulation of understanding as to how the physical world behaves only convinces one that this behavior seems to have a kind of meaninglessness. The sciences do not directly teach good and bad.
Through all ages of our past, people have tried to fathom the meaning of life. They have realized that if some direction or meaning could be given to our actions, great human forces would be unleashed. So very many answers have been given to the question of the meaning of it all. But the answers have been of all different sorts, and the proponents of one answer have looked with horror at the actions of the believers in another - horror, because from a disagreeing point of view all the great potentialities of the race are channeled into a false and confining blind alley. In fact, it is from the history of the enormous monstrosities created by false belief that philosophers have realized the apparently infinite and wondrous capacities of human beings. The dream is to find the open channel.
What, then, is the meaning of it all? What can we say to dispel the mystery of existence?
If we take everything into account - not only what the ancients knew, but all of what we know today that they didn't know - then I think we must frankly admit that we do not know.
But, in admitting this, we have probably found the open channel.
This is not a new idea; this is the idea of the age of reason. This is the philosophy that guided the men who made the democracy that we live under. The idea that no one really knew how to run a government led to the idea that we should arrange a system by which new ideas could be developed, tried out, and tossed out if necessary, with more new ideas brought in - a trial-and-error system. This method was a result of the fact that science was already showing itself to be a successful venture at the end of the eighteenth century. Even then it was clear to socially minded people that the openness of possibilities was an opportunity, and that doubt and discussion were essential to progress into the unknown. If we want to solve a problem that we have never solved before, we must leave the door to the unknown ajar.
We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our responsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can, improve the solutions, and pass them on. It is our responsibility to leave the people of the future a free hand. In the impetuous youth of humanity, we can make grave errors that can stunt our growth for a long time. This we will do if we say we have the answers now, so young and ignorant as we are. If we suppress all discussion, all criticism, proclaiming "This is the answer, my friends; man is saved!" we will doom humanity for a long time to the chains of authority, confined to the limits of our present imagination. It has been done so many times before.
It is our responsibility as scientists, knowing the great progress which comes from a satisfactory philosophy of ignorance, the great progress which is the fruit of freedom of thought, to proclaim the value of this freedom; to teach how doubt is not to be feared but welcomed and discussed; and to demand this freedom as our duty to all coming generations.

Phase space of double pendulum

The chaotic behaviour of double pendulum is very interesting. If we slightly change the initial angle, we will end up in completely different phase space. I decided to see how its changing, so I put the tow initial angles in nested loop and incremented in steps of 5 degree, from 0 to 90 degree.
The result is the colourful display of phase space. As you see in the video, the one in the top left is the time graph and bottom right is the phase space. It's a python script with gnuplot.

Easy reference management using CiteULike,BibTex and Latex

I have seen many grad students having difficulties is reference management. They go for expensive software like EndNote, still having difficulties in integrating with their text editors.

For Linux users this is not a big problem, they have everything in their hand. I am just giving here one combination of tools which is useful for reference management. I maintain my reference library in CiteULike. You can have a posting button in web browser. When you see an article, you can just click that button, then that article is added to your library. You can optionally give a key, which could be used as a reference key in Bibtex. Once you have done, you can export complete library to bibtex(.bib) format. Then you can add this .bib file in your latex file
\bibliographystyle{alpha} (style for references)
\bibliography{bibtex file} (without .bib extension)

where ever you want to cite an article from your bib file, you can just give \cite{key} where key is the bibtex reference key.
The compiling is bit different, you have to compile several time to get the correct output.
  1. pdflatex input-file : complains about undefined citations
  2. bibtex input-file : generates a bbl-file
  3. pdflatex input-file : complains about undefined citations
  4. pdflatex input-file

You will have to repeat the procedure every time you add or remove citations, as they will imply changes in the bbl-file.

We can easily change the style, just by changing one word. This gives the greate flexibility and advantage.

A Cro-Magnon

After a long time I really enjoyed watching one of the best science fiction monies. Usually science fiction movie has certain characteristics like some characters or weapons you have never seen before, space ships, time machines etc..etc.. and everything filled with modern day graphics. Is it possible to make a science fiction movie without those characteristics?. YES.. "The man from earth" is a perfect example. The entire story took place inside a house, but your mind will travel from upper Palaeolithic time to the present day.

There are many reviews about the movie, so I don't want to write one. But I would like to emphasise one psychological aspect of the movie. The protagonist of this movie is telling an "unbelievable" truth in a group of five experts(Professors) , but he is leaving the credibility to the choice of the listeners. He never stress others to believe him. This is a cleaver way to create strong doubt in the listeners mind and steer them in a direction he wants. He answers every question consistently and also sliped at some points, but covering with an argument like "touch of senility". The discussion among the professors were really interesting. What every doubts you have in your mind will be asked by one of them and answered by the protagonist. Screenplay was so good that you will get the feeling that you were also part of that discussion.

I would compare this with matrix, because both are conceptually very good.

Mobile GPS needs no Internet

Technological advancements have given the complete Earth in our hands, but the question is how effectively we are using it. Most of the latest model mobile phones equipped with GPS, but most of us don't use it, thinking that it will cost a lot. If you are a smart hacker, you can use the mobile GPS at free of cost.

Before going into details , one should to know certain necessary things about GPS.
  1. GPS communication and mobile communication are two different things.
  2. GPS should work even without a SIM card.
  3. GPS needs some software to locate your position in a map.
  4. Without that software(maps) GPS just provide you longitude and latitude values.
  5. GPS has direct connectivity to satellites(32 of them orbiting our Earth, at lest 4 needed to establish a connection)
Now let us see what we need.
  1. A mobile phone with GPS receiver
  2. If it has GPS, there is a good probability that its having inbuilt software(like Nokia maps)
  3. Maps data for specific location or country
First two things are already in the phone, all that we need is Maps data for example Maps for India or Canada. This is the thing that costs money when you use the mobile communication to download the maps. Instead, you can completely disable the "going to Internet option" in the settings, then you can download the maps into your PC and transfer into your phone via USB or Bluetooth.
For that you can use Map loader software for Nokia phones. You should aware of the free features in the Nokia maps software. If you want extra features you have to pay for the licence. I think free features are sufficient to reach your destination, the extra features adds only sophistication to that.

Earth vs Technology


As the technology grows bigger and bigger, the size of the Earth getting smaller and smaller. In the 90s our Earth fitted well in our television sets. But now it could very well fit with in our palm. This is not an exaggeration. It is reality. A mobile phone could pin point your location on this planet with and accuracy of few meters.


One of the positive outcome (I think the only positive outcome) of cold war was it made GPS navigation free of cost. After Korean flight was shot down in 1983 after straying into the USSR air space President Ronald Reagen issued a directive making GPS freely available for civilian use as a common good.

Last week I got a new handy for my extension of my mobile contract. I decided to go for GPS handy and got Nokia 6220 classic. I had enough with sony ericson's "ultra fast" software. I don't want to pay for for A-GPS , which costs a lot for data transfer via mobile network. I just started my handy without SIM, and it worked well. I could use this phone just as a navigator. It is not so professional, but for a user like me(I dont have car), this is a quite sufficient for day to day life.

Its a techno toy for me. I can play with satellite's now. I can communicate with satellites now. Isn't sound great :).It is fascinating to see the signal strengths and satellite positions in my handy. If I could, I would like move every part of of the Earth to check at least I could see 4 satellite at any point of time.I could calculate the speed of the bus by sitting inside. Next time when I travel with ICE, I may able to calculate the speed of ICE.

Most people really don't know how remarkable this GPS is. The surface area of earth is 510,072,000 km². A GPS system can pin point your location in this vast surface area with an accuracy of about 50m. Lets make circle with radius of 50m and its area is 2500pi square meter. This is about 0.00785 sq.km. When we calculate the accuracy in percentage its 99.99999999874%. Isn't great?
